KM 3.0: This time it's personal

Most people have just started to understand KM 2.0, but it was already a hot topic back in the old days (2007). It has not been very successful so far, and I believe the main reason is that it doesn't solve the real problem with knowledge management.
It's time to move on to KM 3.0, and finally solve the real problem. KM 3.0 focus on using existing knowledge to help people get their job done ! At the core this simply means having access to useful knowledge when you need it. This may mean getting a document from a central database, getting a phone number from a co-worker, getting a checklist for launching a marketing campaign or getting meeting notes from a project meeting.
