Wanted: Reviewers

P.S.
I am Norwegian, so English is not my native language. You should therefore expect both grammaricious errors, punct.uati.on and speling errors :-)

Wikipedia + Google = iKnow

No, PpcSoft iKnow does not replace Wikipedia or Google, but the principle behind PpcSoft iKnow is based on Wikipedia and Google.

If you're looking for information about a specific topic, Wikipedia will often get you exactly what you want.

if you don't know exactly what you're looking for, Google will search the internet for you and try to find what you want.

Copy / Paste

Most people use copy and paste often. Among the top 5 commands in MS Word 2003, Paste was number 1 and Copy was number 3

Even a small improvement can make a difference in usability...

To comment or not to comment

I don't have comments enabled on my blog. Reading I came, I Saw, I Commented, I know I probably should, but I won't (see also Why No Comments).

My main reasons for this are
a) I want people to write thoughtful comments, and writing their own blog posts is better than a short comment
b) I don't have time to moderate and remove spam (so it will probably become more noise than useful comments)

However, I have started to comment on others' articles because
a) I want to show them I appreciated the article (and add my 2 cents worth :-)
b) I'm too lazy to write my own blog post to comment the article

Primarily I want to create my own blog posts (like this) to respond to other interesting articles, but I realize that I don't have enough time to comment on all the great articles that are written around the world. I will therefore try to at least add short comments directly to those authors that allow comments, to show my appreciation.

What do you think ;-) ?

PpcSoft iKnow Lite and Standard edition

PpcSoft is proud to announce two new additions of PpcSoft iKnow:
PpcSoft iKnow Lite edition for personal, non-commercial use and
PpcSoft iKnow Standard edition for professionals.

PpcSoft iKnow is a productivity tool aimed at professional knowledge workers who requires professional support.

However, we have received increasing requests for a simpler, less expensive edition. PpcSoft iKnow has more power than many people need, and is also more expensive than many people can afford by themselves.

We have worked hard to create an offer that most people can afford, and we are extremely proud to offer three different editions:

The PpcSoft iKnow Lite edition for personal, non-commercial use is a 100% free edition for casual home users who wants a powerful, but easy-to-use tool. The Lite edition is limited to 100 notes and we cannot offer any support or upgrades (as we don't make any money on this edition).

The PpcSoft iKnow Standard edition ($79) for professionals is similar to the professional edition, but is limited to 1,000 notes and we only offer limited support and upgrades due to the low price.

The PpcSoft iKnow Professional edition ($249) is the original edition which offers a limit of 100,000 notes and one year of free support and upgrades.

We believe PpcSoft iKnow can be a great productivity tool for all kinds of users, not only professional knowledge workers.

We are very pleased to offer an affordable solution to help manage information overload and increase productivity to as many people as possible !
