Download Installation or Exe
You have a choice between a standard Windows MSI installation file or a simple EXE file (executable file).
If you want shortcuts on your desktop etc you should download the installation file (recommended for most users).
Experienced users may prefer the EXE file which can be downloaded and run directly from wherever you choose.
Both files are less than 2 MB.
To download iKnow you must accept the license terms as specified in the license agreement. Your usage of iKnow indicates your full acceptance of the license agreement.
Installation
The EXE file is compressed in a ZIP file. When you unzip you'll get a single EXE file. This EXE file needs no installation. Simply double-click it to run.
The MSI file is a very simple installation where you double-click the file to start the installation. You accept the license agreement, and then it installs iKnow to '\Program Files\iKnow' and installs a shortcut on your desktop automatically.
When you run iKnow for the first time, you'll be presented with an introduction, and then a short tutorial. Please watch them to get a better 'feel' of the application.
Free 30-day trial
You can use and evaluate iKnow for 30 days for free. Please note that this is 30 working days, not calender days. If you only use iKnow every third day, the evaluation will work for 90 days. This should give you sufficient time to fully evaluate the powerful capabilities of iKnow.

Simple installation: iKnow is small and efficient, and consists of only one file (no additional downloads or dependencies). You'll download and install iKnow in 2-3 minutes.
No security risk: No internet connection is needed - iKnow will not connect automatically to the internet, but the user may click a button to open a web page from within iKnow (to check for updates or get help).
Simple text-based dataformat: Your data is saved in a standard text-file that can be opened in a browser, or opened and edited in a standard text-editor like notepad (on any platform: Windows, Mac or Unix).
No lock-in: You have a free trial for 30 days, but can continue to use iKnow after the trial has expired to access your data. Also, your data is freely available due to the simple text-based dataformat.
