Please note that this is 30 working days, not calender days. If you only use PpcSoft iKnow every third day, the evaluation will work for 90 days. This should give you sufficient time to fully evaluate the powerful capabilities of PpcSoft iKnow.

Quick, easy and risk-free

Simple installation: PpcSoft iKnow is small and efficient, and consists of only one file. You'll download and install PpcSoft iKnow in less than a minute.

No dependencies: PpcSoft iKnow is a stand-alone application. No need for .Net framework, Java runtime, additional DLLs or internet access.

No security risk: No internet connection is needed. PpcSoft iKnow will not connect to the internet directly. The user may click a button to open a web page using your default browser from PpcSoft iKnow (to check for updates or get help).

No lock-in: You have a free trial for 30 days, but can continue to use PpcSoft iKnow after the trial has expired to access your data. Also, your data can be read and edited using any text editor due to the simple text-based dataformat. Your data is saved locally on your computer (not in the cloud).

Usb friendly: You can copy the iknow.exe file to a Usb stick and run it directly from there. All you data and settings will then be stored in a subfolder where the iknow.exe file is, and no data will be stored on the local computer. The professional version download page will let you download the single exe-file as a zip file.

Simple text-based dataformat: Your data is saved in a standard text-file that can be opened and edited in any standard text-editor like notepad (on any platform: Windows, Mac or Unix).

Unzip the file and then open with PpcSoft iKnow. The zip file is 3,5 MB, and is 7 MB unzipped. It contains a demo file and a subfolder with a few images to demonstrate the new images functionality.

License agreement

To download PpcSoft iKnow you must accept the license terms as specified in the license agreement. Your usage of PpcSoft iKnow indicates your full acceptance of the license agreement.

License summary: The license is per user. Each user may use PpcSoft iKnow on as many computers as he/she needs (but no sharing). The Home edition is for personal, non-commercial use only. This means that you cannot use the Home edition at work (but you can use the Standard and Professional editions both at home and work). See the license agreement for more details.

Installation

The Home and Standard edition features a simple EXE setup, while the Professional version is available with both a simple EXE setup and an MSI installer. Double-click the EXE or MSI file to start the simple installation. You accept the license agreement, and then it installs PpcSoft iKnow to '\Program Files\iKnow' and installs a shortcut on your desktop automatically. When you run PpcSoft iKnow for the first time, you'll see a short tutorial. Please watch it to learn the basics of the application. You may also spend a few minutes learning how to use iKnow.
