Personal and Business license

The personal license is for personal, non-commercial use only (you pay for it).
The business license is for both personal and commercial use (your boss pays for it).

The license is per user. Each user may use PpcSoft iKnow on as many computers as he/she needs (but no sharing with others).

Business license

For business users, time is money !

If you are paid $50 an hour, then an hour wasted is equal to $50 wasted for your employer (actually more, as your employer has additional expenses).

For a business, the value is much more important than the cost (see TCO and ROI).

Training, usability, stability, support, lock-in and productivity are just some important factors when considering the value of a software purchase.

The main difference between the two business editions (Standard and Professional) is the maximum number of notes and support.

Most users don't need more notes than the Standard edition offers, so for most businesses the main difference will be support.

Why the big difference in price for (mostly) support ?
- Quality support is important for business customers ("time is money")
- Quality support is expensive to offer (we offer real, human support using e-mail)

Have you ever tried to get support from Google ? Have you ever reached a human being at Google ? Most of their tools are free, but their people are not.

PpcSoft iKnow is a productivity tool, and we believe you can save a lot of time using PpcSoft iKnow. However, instead of offering a very cheap application and let you solve any problems you encounter yourself, we charge a low price to enable us to help you.

Personal license

For personal use, time is not money !

When you're not at work, you don't get paid any money and therefore don't lose any money when you "waste" time.

However, for many people, their personal time is actually even more valuable to them even if they don't make any money.

PpcSoft iKnow will help you remember more and hopefully save you a lot of time that you previously wasted searching your yellow notes, notebooks, documents, e-mails, blogs and websites.

But even if you save a lot of valuable time, you don't make any more money (unless you work a little bit extra using some of the saved time). We realize that most people can't afford to pay as much as their employer, and this is why we offer a very low-priced Home edition for personal use.

We don't make much money on the Home edition. But hopefully you'll find PpcSoft iKnow so useful that you'll want to use it at work as well as home, and then we'll make more money when your employer purchases PpcSoft iKnow for you (which enables us to improve PpcSoft iKnow).

License agreement

To download PpcSoft iKnow you must accept the license terms as specified in the license agreement. Your usage of PpcSoft iKnow indicates your full acceptance of the license agreement.
