PpcSoft iKnow is very powerful even if you only use a handful of notes.

It is important to note that the license allows you to use PpcSoft iKnow on multiple computers, for example your desktop, laptop and netbook computer.
In addition, PpcSoft iKnow can run multiple instances if you want a separate Home and Work datafile for example. Simply copy the iknow.exe file and give it a new name (e.g., 'iKnowPersonal.exe') and you have twice as many notes available as you can run both programs at the same time.
Give a bonus to a friend (and yourself)
Registered users of PpcSoft iKnow Home and Standard edition can get extra notes by inviting friends to buy PpcSoft iKnow using a special Invitation Code.
The code is automatically generated and sent to them when you 'Invite a friend'.
If you have registered PpcSoft iKnow and invite a friend who also buys PpcSoft iKnow, you will both get additional notes (Home and Standard edition).
You need to use the 'Invite friend' functionality from within PpcSoft iKnow to enable this option.

The professional edition cannot get extra notes as it already has the maximum available notes (100,000).
So how many notes do you need ?
PpcSoft iKnow stores all your data locally on your computer, so we have no way of knowing how many notes our users have. But to illustrate, one of our competitors stores their users data in the cloud and their users had an average of 39 notes (2010). So you'll have to work hard to reach the limit of 1,000 notes for the Home edition.
Unlike most other software that get slower and less usable as the data grows, PpcSoft iKnow is designed to actually become more useful as your data grows (as more notes get automatically connected).
Most tools don't scale well as you add more information - and unfortunately you often won't discover this until you've used it for a long time and already added a lot of data. At this point, when the tool becomes nearly unusable, it is almost too late to change as you've invested so much time into it, and it will probably be a lot of work to switch tools.
