Multiple instances

PpcSoft iKnow has no dependencies, i.e. it is a single exe file.

It has also been designed so you can copy this exe file and give it a unique name, and it will work like a new, 100% independent application.

This means that if you copy 'iknow.exe' into 'Customers.exe' or 'iKnowUsb.exe', it will have its own settings and data.

PpcSoft iKnow is designed to store all your knowledge, but sometimes it can be useful to separate personal from professional knowledge, or maybe have an independent customers/products/research database.

You can open different datafiles in iKnow using the File Menu, but using a different copy enables you to run both at the same time ! It will even get a different colored icon to make it easier to recognize (and also a different hotkey - Ctrl+F12 instead of just F12 for 'iknow.exe').
