Hyperlinks
| |
This screenshot shows the hyperlink dialog.
The most powerful feature of PpcSoft iKnow is autolinks, but you may also insert ordinary hyperlinks to web pages, mail, files or other notes. Hyperlinks will be blue by default, while autolinks are red to easily tell them apart.
(article continues after the screenshot)
A hyperlink consist of two parts:
- a title
- a link
The title is what will be shown in the text. The link is what the title links to.
Example links:
| - www.ppcsoft.com | (web address) |
| - support@ppcsoft.com | (mail address) |
| - knowledge | (different note) |
| - 'file:C:\example.ppt' | (link to file) |
| - 'file:C:\myimage.jpg' | (link to image) |
You may drag-and-drop files to a note, and the hyperlink dialog will automatically pop up with the filename as the suggested title.
Sometimes you may want to link to a note, but using a different name.
Example:
- Title: 'My favorite software'
- Link: 'iKnow'
